Dear Mr. Neufeld,
Thank you for taking the time and effort in to making Grad fun and most of it worth it.
Something that could have been better would have been not to be split in to two groups for most of the retreats. People were split from their friends and where left lonely during some of it. Yes, I know that our class is clicky but being all together could have been just that much better.
Also one thing that all grads look forward to is the all-nighter. We here all the stories from years before and then this year we did not get to do it. The reason why it could have been good is because of all the memories that we would have shared as a class.
Don’t get me wrong all the retreats were great and I had fun for the most past but being together and not being split and also being able to have the all-nighter would have brought us close as a class. The all-nighter at the beginning of the year would be just that much better because we could have gotten to know new people and then not have had only a month left like the grads have been saying in the past.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter, and next year I hope you think about the suggestions that are in this letter.
Thank you for a great grad year!
Sincerely,
Kim Unrau

A Day I Will Never Forget

OUCH! GET HIM OFF OF ME! That is just one of the things I said that morning when it happened. Let me tell you about it. One warm early morning in October, during my grade 10 year, my Socials Class went on a field trip to an historic museum. We were all standing there listening to this kind Asian man commenting about the immigration and that rail road experiences. All of a sudden, a fellow class mate started to sway back and forth. I was wondering what he was doing. That is when it happened, he fainted. He didn’t just faint, he fainted and fell on me! I was lying there with this guy on me. I had broken his fall but no one was there to catch me. Falling, I hit my head pretty hard. The teacher was telling every one to stand back and give Hank space but the thing was he was still on top of me. It was like a ton of bricks had been dropped from the sky. They finally got him up and took him out of the room. I was sitting there with a goose egg on the back of my head. No one asked how I was. They just let me sit there and get some air. Until this day when ever I need a laugh I just look back on that moment.
